DESCRIPTION:Join us for a Devil’s Thumb Ranch favorite—Women’s Ski\, Sip & Yoga! A day full of female comradery\, skiing award winning cross-country trails\, healthy eating and restoring your body. \nSki\, Sip & Yoga is an opportunity to try Nordic skiing for the first time or hone in your skills with other experienced skiers. Of course\, there is plenty of time for relaxation and a glass of wine\, as well! \nStart the day with a ski clinic for skate and classic skiers of all ability levels lead by experienced instructors. Lunch will be served in the beautiful Broad Axe Barn. The afternoon will be open for you to take another ski lesson or take a yoga class. End the day with wine\, cheese\, ski wax clinic\, and a raffle. \n$200 per person\n8:30am–4:00pm | Broad Axe Barn \nREGISTER NOW!\n\nMore Details:\nIf you are driving from Denver or Boulder give yourself plenty of time to beat the traffic so you’re not stressed when you arrive! Registration starts at 8:30-9:30am with a warm-up activities at 9:00am. We have the Broad Axe Barn above the Activities Center for our room for the day. You may bring your bag in and leave your jackets\, but please leave valuables in your car. \nSchedule:\nStart the day with a ski clinic for skate or classic skiers of all ability levels\, led by our experienced instructors. Lunch will be served in the beautiful Broad Axe Barn. The afternoon will be open for you to head out for another ski lesson or for the yoga class. End the day with wine and cheese\, ski waxing clinic and a raffle at the Broad Axe Barn.\n8:30 – 9:30am: Registration with coffee\, tea and house-made granola bars (gluten free) in the Broad Axe Barn. Get ski rentals at Zach’s Mercantile shop\, just below the Broad Axe Barn\n9:30 – 10:00am: Instructor introductions and split into groups\n10:00 – 12:00pm: Ski lessons on DTR trails – classic or skate\, it’s up to you!\n12:15 – 1:30pm: Lunch (buffet\, if you have any dietary restrictions\, please let us know)\n2:00 – 3:00pm: Afternoon Options – It’s up to you! 1. Extra ski lessons 2. Yoga Class for improved performance\, at the Broad Axe Barn (yoga mats provided by the Spa)\n3:00 – 4:00pm: Wine/cheese\, ski waxing clinic and raffle \nWhat to Bring:\n* Water bottle\n* Sunglasses and sunscreen\n* Warm hat\n* Layers. You will need a couple layers on the bottom and a different layers on top – like a vest or another warmer shirt to take off as you warm up throughout the clinic.
